Hidden Power Series, Episode 7 (Phase 2): The Perversion of Truth

You'd want it, right? But here's the thing nobody wants to talk about. That same power, it can be twisted. It can be flipped upside down and when it is, when people use it the wrong way, it doesn't just hurt the person they aim it at, it destroys them. Today we're starting phase two of the Hidden Power series and this one is called the Perversion of Truth.

Now before you think this is some heavy dark topic, stay with me. Because understanding this power gets twisted is the key of making sure you never fall into that trap. And more importantly, it's the key to becoming untouchable. Let's get into it. So here's where we are. More and more people are waking up to the idea that there's a hidden power out there, something invisible, something they can tap into.

And honestly, they're right. There is a hidden power. Thomas Troward, the man whose work this whole series is built on, he saw this over a hundred years ago. He said people were starting to recognize it. And today, It's ⁓ books, podcasts, social media, ⁓ talking about mindset, manifestations, ⁓ power of your thoughts, ⁓ the specific power ⁓ Word zeroed in on ⁓ the power of suggestion.

Now me break that down ⁓ real ⁓ The of suggestion is the ability to plant an idea. ⁓ in your own mind or in someone else's mind, and that idea will grow and produce results. It works through what we call the subconscious mind. That part of your mind that runs in the background, like an app running on your phone even when the screen is off, you don't see it working.

You don't always know where the idea came from. but it's running and it's powerful. And here's where it gets interesting. Here's where it gets dangerous. The power is neutral. It's like electricity. Electricity can light up your house, cook your food, keep your family warm, but that same electricity can burn your house down. It all depends on how you use it.

It all depends on the character of the person using it. And Troward said, And this is the heart of today's episode. That is the power that was already being perverted, twisted, flipped upside down. Exactly. The power just power. ⁓ like a knife. ⁓ surgeon uses knife to save your life. ⁓ A uses a knife to take your life. ⁓ Same ⁓ totally outcome. ⁓ And saw that as soon as people discovered this hidden power, ⁓ a bunch of them immediately went to the lowest use of ⁓ Not the ⁓ the lowest.

I mean using it to control people, to manipulate people, to get what you want without caring about what it does to them. me just give you some examples because Troward didn't just talk theory, he ⁓ receipts. ⁓ talked about ⁓ And remember, ⁓ was over 100 years ago. ⁓ and magazines promising to teach you ⁓ influence, mental power, ⁓ power of suggestion, ⁓ these ads were shameless about it.

⁓ they said you could use this power for ⁓ purpose you wanted. ⁓ purpose. Now think about that for a second. What does any purpose mean? It means manipulation. It means control. It means getting people to do what you want, whether it's good for them or not. And he gave a wild example. He said there was a school right there in London where they train shop assistants to use what they called magnetic power, ever hear of magnetic marketing?

To get customers to buy things they didn't need. You ever walk into a store and buy something? Get home, look at it and say, why in the world did I buy this? You feel like you got hypnotized into it. And that's what he's talking about. Now you might think, okay, it's just a few dollars. No big deal. But Troward said it is a big deal. Not for you, but the customer, for the person doing it, because that's the first step down a dark road.

It might start small, a little manipulation here, a little influence there, but step by step it leads somewhere you don't want to go. 100%. And here's the thing, it doesn't stop at sales. Troward brought up something way more extreme. He read an article from a newspaper called The Daily Mail. The headline? Killing by Prayer. Yeah, you heard that right. Killing by Prayer.

Here's what happened. There was a person, they signed their letter MC. You can look it up. And this person was against animal testing. They heard about somebody who prayed for the death of a scientist who did experiments on animals. And the scientist died. So MC thought, let me try this. They prayed that a certain scientist would be removed. And about two weeks later, one of the most well-known scientists in medicine died.

Now, MC thought they were doing something good. They thought they were protecting animals, but Troward said, and I agree with him, this is the perversion of truth. That is taking a hidden power and flipping it upside down. No, Sylvia, that's the biggest lie people believe. The and justifies the means. Troward called it the greatest perversion of truth. Let me say that again.

The greatest perversion of truth is believing that a good goal makes a bad method okay. It doesn't matter how noble your cause is, if you're using mental or spiritual power to destroy somebody, you have crossed the line. And Troward gave another example to prove it. He talked about a woman named Anna Kingsford. She lived about 40 years before Troward's time.

She was a strong opponent of animal testing. And she claimed that through her thought power, She caused the death of a famous French scientist called Claude Bernard. And you know what? Maybe she did. Bernard did die around that time. But here's what else happened. From the very moment she did that, her health started to break down and it never stopped. She went downhill until she died.

The power came back to her. Curses come home to roost. Every single time. And that's not just Troward talking, that's spiritual law. What you send out comes to you. ⁓ Now let's take it a little bit deeper because Troward Word just call this misuse, ⁓ had a specific word for it. ⁓ ⁓ before you roll your eyes at me and send me a bunch of messages, hear me out.

⁓ Word defines sorcery ⁓ ⁓ clearly. He sorcery is inverted use of spiritual power. ⁓ That's When you take a spiritual power and flip it upside down and you use it for control, manipulation, or for destruction, that's sorcery. Doesn't matter if you call it manifestation or you call it mindset techniques or influence strategies. If you're inverting spiritual power, it's sorcery.

and the Bible puts sorcery on the list of things that keep you out of what Troward called the Heavenly ⁓ that's not a city on a map, ⁓ a perfected state of being. ⁓ the best version of you. ⁓ if you practice sorcery, the inverted use of this power, ⁓ can't ⁓ to that heavenly ⁓ Jerusalem. ⁓ Then went to the book of Revelation. He talked about two women, ⁓ symbols.

⁓ first woman is clothed with the sun. ⁓ standing on the moon. She has a crown of stars on her head. ⁓ represents the aligned with truth, ⁓ with with the divine, right? The woman, is sitting on a throne of the world. She's holding a golden cup, but the cup is full of nasty stuff and abominations and she is called Babylon. These two women represent two choices, two ways of thinking, two modes of the soul, if you will.

One is aligned with God and the other is marked by sorcery, the inverted use of spiritual power. And what happens to Babylon? she becomes the home of devils, the prison of unclean spirits. In other words, when you keep misusing this power, your inner world becomes a dark, ugly place, even if nobody else can see it. That's exactly what I'm saying. And it always shows up eventually.

Always. Now, Troward was also a judge. He sentenced people in court. And he says something I will never forget. He said, killing by mental means is just as much murder as killing with a knife with poison. ⁓ said, and are the words of a man with years of judicial He would have no problem hanging somebody who committed murder through mental suggestion. That's how serious this is.

Psychological crime is still ⁓ Troward said it might even be worse because the person doing it is operating at deeper ⁓ level evil. ⁓ Real consequences. And Jesus himself taught on this exact point. Remember that fig tree we talked about a while ago? Jesus spoke to a tree ⁓ it withered up and died. ⁓ when his disciples said, look, the you cursed died, ⁓ Jesus deny it.

⁓ He ⁓ you do the same thing. ⁓ Nothing impossible for you. ⁓ But ⁓ and is the part people skip, He said, forgive. If you have anything against anyone, forgive them. He showed them the power. Then he gave them the rule. Use this power with prayer. Use it with forgiveness. Use it with alignment with God. And if you do that, you will never use it to hurt someone in their mind, body, or circumstances.

Now, okay, here's the question. Should we be scared? Should we walk around that somebody is sending negative thoughts our way? ⁓ Troward said, absolutely ⁓ I ⁓ First all, Most people don't know enough about this power to use it, for one, and those who understand it, the vast majority of out there, like 99 out of 100, want to use it for good. They want to help people.

I know you do, and they want to build, not destroy. But there is a small group who will misuse it. Human nature is human nature. So how do you deal with them? Simple, you see them for what they really are. People who are ignorant of the real spiritual power, they think they have it, but they don't. They have a cheap copy, a knockoff. And when you see them in their true light, their power over you falls away.

Because here's the law, the affirmative always destroys the negative. The constructive always overcomes the destructive. not by attacking it, not by fighting it head on, but by building. Troward said the affirmative is always a building power. It builds life, more life, and when that life comes in, the negative has to go out. That's it That's whole game.

⁓ And ultimate way to do ⁓ that the conscious with the source of life itself. When you connect God, ⁓ the first cause, the starting point everything, ⁓ you become untouchable. Not because you up walls, ⁓ not because you but because you are full of life. You are full of light ⁓ and no can to you. ⁓ Troward said it like If someone sends malicious suggestions your way, but when you're grounded in this truth, it's like firing peas from a pea shooter at an iron clad warship.

It's not gonna do anything to you, but for them, curses come home to roost. Now, this only works if you keep your hedge. Great question. In the old Hebrew tradition, they called the divine law the hedge. It's your boundary, your protection. It's the wall around your mind and your spirit that keeps the enemy out. And Jesus said, I am the door by me. If any man enters in, he shall be saved.

So the hedge is your spiritual boundary. Christ is the door. If you keep that hedge unbroken, If you stay connected to the source, nothing can come in except through the proper door. But if you break the hedge, if you let your guard down, if you abandon your conscious connection to God, then the serpent comes in. The Bible calls it Nahash, the old enemy, and that's on you.

So keep your hedge. Stay connected. Stay grounded. Now, do you need to understand all? of this perfectly before you get protected? No. And Troward was very clear about that. He said you don't need to fully understand the engine to ride the train. You just need to get on the right side of it. There are two mysteries I'll let you guys know. The mystery of light and the mystery of darkness.

The mystery of Christ and the mystery of iniquity. Both of them work through the same laws of your mind. your subconscious mind responds to whatever you feed it. So the question is simple. Which mystery are you feeding? If you choose the mystery of light, if you let that truth become the center of your heart, it works automatically. Your subconscious mind takes it in and runs with it, even when you're not consciously thinking about it.

It protects you, it guides you, it shows up in your circumstances, your health, your relationships, your business. Troward used a really beautiful example. He said, if you start with the color red as your base, every color you mix will have red in it. Oranges purples Browns red shows through everything and if you start with blue blue shows through everything Same with your life if you start with the divine if God is your starting point the quality shows up everywhere all the way to the tips of your fingers all the way to the edges of your circumstances So I'll give you guys some practical application, okay, so what do you do with all this?

Let me make it simple. Number one, guard your mind. Your subconscious mind is always open to suggestion. That's how it's built. So be intentional about what you let it in. What you're watching, what you're listening to, who you're spending time with, what thoughts are you letting run on repeat. Guard your hedge. Number two, you might be wanting to write these things down.

Or you can just rewind and listen to this again, but check your motives. Before you try to influence anyone in business or in relationships or in life, ask yourself this. Am I doing this for their good or just for mine? If your motive is selfish, you're on the wrong path. It might start small, but it leads somewhere dark. The end never justifies the means.

Number 3. Build. Don't fight. When negativity comes at you, whether it's someone's bad energy, a tough season, or just the darkness around the world, don't waste your time fighting it directly. Build. Build life. Build light. Build your faith. Build your business the right way. Build your character. The light always pushes out the dark. Number four, stay connected to the source.

This is a big one, you guys. Conscious union with God is your ultimate protection. Not religion, not a church membership card, personal, real, living connection with the divine. That's Christ in you, the hope of glory. When you have that, nothing can touch you. That's exactly what it is. And if you take even one of those four steps seriously this week, you'll start to feel the shift.

I'll promise you that. Now, let me bring this home with some scripture, okay? this isn't just theory, this is biblical truth. ⁓ pointed to something powerful. He ⁓ person recognizes truth, who lives from center of light, fits the biblical description a true a Child of God. ⁓ And the promise attached to that. ⁓ There no divination or against Israel. Let that sink for a moment.

⁓ There's no witchcraft, there's no manipulation, there's no sorcery, no negative suggestion. None of it works against someone who's walking in their identity as a child of God. That's not just an old verse from 1909. It's a living, breathing promise for you today. St. Paul said it, Christ in you, the hope of glory. That means the divine, creative spirit of the universe has made its home inside of you, not out there somewhere, not in a building, in you.

And when you start from that place, when God is your fountainhead, His presence flows through you and through everything you do, your business, your health, your family, your future. It all carries that quality. You don't have to fear any negative power. You don't have to worry about who's thinking what about you. You don't have to live in the anxiety about curses or bad energy or any of that.

You just have to keep your hedge, stay connected and build. Perfectly said Sophia. That's the whole thing right there. So here's my challenge for you today. Stop playing with this power like it's a toy. It's not a game. It's not a trick to get you more sales and it's not a hack to manipulate people into doing what you want. This is a real power and it comes with real responsibility.

The truth is... Everything you want exists on the other side of using this power the right way with clean hands with a pure heart with your eyes on the source not on the shortcut The world is full of people chasing the hidden power for selfish reasons Don't be one of them be the person who uses it to build to serve to lift people up to create something real because when you do that When you align with the mystery of light instead of the mystery of darkness, you become untouchable.

Not because you're arrogant, because you're anchored. ⁓ no divination or enchantment, no ⁓ no sorcery, none of it ⁓ any power against someone who is grounded in the truth.
